A nice award I'd be happy to win. The Webmaster calls it his "Travel Site", describing the many interesting places in the world he has visited. The "flavour" of his reviews is from a more personal standpoint, instead of the sometimes rudimentary approach of TV travel presenters. I just wish some of his reviews were a little longer since there are interesting facts I did not learn elsewhere, but he adds links to more information. He has added a nice section about his family and the family dog, which is always nice to see. Take a look at his awards page and mission statement to see why I am interested in receiving this award.

STATEMENT

As a professional, studied freelance artist I am dependent (as everybody in any kind of working process) from an effective PR and its presentation of my broad artwork. The common experiences in the PR businesses are often not what the customers are expecting because today's trend is to invest very little time and interest in other people's needs and expectations, but trying to gain a lot of money for questionable and not satisfying results based on, sometimes, unwanted and forced compromises which are not the best at all in view of excellence of a product to be advertised professionally and successfully!
The experiences of my long and hard working life of nearly 4 decades are sadly not different to those above described.
But never I have given up hope which finally eventuated: "The once in a lifetime opportunity and luck" by having found in the young Webmaster Ben, a highly gifted person with unusual and extraordinary skills, paired with a steady friendly patience, permanent kindness, a flexibility one can only dream of. However most important to me, this professional Webmaster has shown the essential and important ability to sublimate my artistic expressions as a "non-technical artist" into a performance of professional Website-and computer technique's excellence I never could find in the past, dependently working with people having less idealism and perfectionism I needed for getting the best results reproducing and marketing my broad artwork, in every aspect.
There is no doubt, as a perfectionist I have to accept to be named by others as a never satisfied, very difficult artist and I am aware that there is a lot of understanding and patience needed to work with and for me - especially because of the frustrating fact, making permanently changes of the "last" drafts trying to achieve the best possible results in my artwork and its PR - but having little technical understanding if and how my artistic expectations have to be realized into the needs and rules of a high-tech, manual intelligence like the computer- and software world!
In the professional Webmaster Ben I did find all of my expectations fulfilled to reach and match those necessary criteria and with endless grace I can only say: "Thank you, Ben" and forgive me if I caused you so often (unnecessarily!) troubles and too much time spent in vain because of my uncertainty of this new kind of pathways I was faced as an elderly person, not any more so flexible as you still are. But nevertheless I am able to recognize and understand the extremely hard work to create a Web site about a difficult artist and a difficult artwork to an excellent technical artwork itself. Thank you for patiently finding ways of excellence to combine artwork and technique to a new creation of yours: A unique, beautiful Web site people/visitors like to stay with and others only can dream of like I did before you realized my dreams!
You are a beautiful human being and our today's world needs more of genuine, gifted, professional, warmhearted and idealistic people like you. Excuse me becoming emotional but I mean it and am not ashamed of it! I am sure your parents are proud of you and I know, especially your mum loves you deeply! May God bless you, Benny!

	Webmaster's Autobiography:

-	Interested in all kinds of technology since the early age of only two years.
-	Built at the age of four radios and alarm systems after kits for 14 - 18 years old students.
-	Could read and count at the age of four and could understand technical drawings.
-	Since the age of nine am reading professional electronic - and computer magazines.
-	Built at the age of ten, after own plan, a workbench with 21 different working electronic features, including electroplating. A future Web site of this work story with detailed photos and text is planned for the next 8 to 12 months.
-	Since the age of 13 being the owner of a used computer system which I continually upgraded and replaced to form my current Pentium workstation.
-	At the age of 14 invention of an electronic car and its working mechanism (such as ABS, diagnostic systems) with help of CAD.
-	At the age of 15, built a working water cooling system for the metal cattery roof of our cat sanctuary.
-	For a year 10 Science class, I designed and built a powerful laser, plasma display, laser deflector system and a regulated power supply.
-	Repaired and upgraded own Laser printers.
-	Gaining more and more self-taught skills in computer science and Web design - In 2001 I taught myself to use MM Flash 5 and created my first computer film with moving text & sound.
-	In 2001 recognition of my self-taught computer based hard work by professional, highly respected independent teams in receiving attractive awards.
-	LOVE LIFE! LIKE TO CHAT (when time) WITH FRIENDLY, INTELLIGENT, GENUINE, PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE. LOVE DOGS AND OTHER ANIMALS (was raised with all kinds of pets).
-	DESPITE SOME CONTRARY EXPERIENCES of mine and despite daily frustrating, partly horrifying world news I AM STILL BELIEVING IN THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING AND ACTING! WANTS TO HELP OTHERS IN NEED WITH MY FUTURE INCOME AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE BELIEVING IN A SENSE OF BEAUTIFUL MATERAL AND SPIRITUAL LIFE!
-	Like witty, funny and just nice cartoons, especially with animals.
-	Like to invent and explore new, interesting things in all fields of technical science.
-	Like to receive support by trustworthy, independent friends and am prepared to offer the same. - Dislike cruelty to animals, intolerance, injustice, prejudice, hypocrisy, dishonesty, broken promises, alcohol, smoking and other drugs as well as computer crashes.
-	LAST BUT NOT LEAST: I STILL DO BELIEVE IN HUMAN'S NATURE AND THE FUTURE OF MANKIND!
-	About my JABROART Web design: My self-created JABROART Web site is purely based on highly complicated art and needs good sized images. I'm very aware of their file/pixel size and compression ratio - every single image has been separately and painstakingly optimized. I have customized compression levels for all images and made separate thumbnail pages because of this. The image on the main page and all the other pages does not in any way distract/detract from page loading time - the entire index.htm page loads (with images trailing) in under 5 seconds and is immediately usable. Also, the images of my Web site have been saved as progressive JPEGs and at 30% downloaded already show a great deal of image information. Any further compression would decrease the image quality noticeably - it is not an option and I'm sure every professional would agree with me. There is not a single element on my Web site which prevents the user from surfing the site in a smooth, logical way, without waiting undue amounts of time to be able to access the information or navigation options. All pages have descriptive titles and a very clear purpose - viewers/visitors immediately know what the site and pages are about! Very clear and multiple navigation options and has a browser-safe design. My site has a nice and comfortable color theme and an attractive, flowing and consistent design. Use of META TAGS and descriptive text throughout site, easy access to e-mail. Search engine friendly design and content. Specially designed thumbnail pages which load in sections - not requiring everything to be loaded fully before displaying the purpose and escape/navigation options. Design and features that are polished, proven and finished. Comfortable, appealing appearance and good evidence of artistic skill/composition! Thanks for your friendly attention. Have a nice day!
